CBT Simulation Technology Pty. Ltd. develop innovative training and simulation systems based on cognitive modeling principles. Our goal is to develop systems that demonstrably increase the quality and quantity of learning, are adaptive to the trainee's existing knowledge, and are interactive during the training process.

We do this by basing our design on human learning capabilities and not solely on computer or multimedia facilities. Our training and simulation systems use design features from the latest research and developments in Cognitive Science. We have a team of up to 20 people who make these ideas a reality.

For development of Smart Operator tm we have formed a strategic alliance with Petromin Training Services Pty Ltd. and secured development funding through Australian Multimedia Enterprises Pty. Ltd. Petromin are a group of training and performance support personnel specifically for the Energy and Resources sectors. They conduct training courses and provide consultancy services in Process Control Systems, Industrial Safety, and Environmental Management.

CBT Simulation Pty. Ltd. is based in Perth, Western Australia. We started in 1994, as a research and development company, and we have also done consultancy work. Our office is at the Technology Park, directly adjacent to Curtin University. Curtin is the largest technical University in W.A. and offers us access to research facilities and communications links.
